Tried and tested for several years in Australia’s expanding housing market, MyVirtualHome offers the features and tools necessary to design, plan, experiment and, ultimately, to communicate ideas to contractors and other building professionals that could otherwise be unclear or lost in the blueprints.

With an established goal of connecting consumers to manufactuers, suppliers, professionals and consultants in a more efficient manner, MyVirtualHome helps reduce consumer cost, material waste and time spent by all involved parties, which ultimately benefits not only the consumer and contractor, but the community whose resources they share, too.

Now, with the premiere of their Global Edition, MyVirtualHome offers the same features and tools used with great success in Australia within an expanded and updated user interface with improved tools and a broader feature set. More importantly, MyVirtualHome offers the same in-built features for finding consultants, contractors and other building and design professionals in your local area that made the program so successful and practical in Australia.

Some of MyVirtualHome's standout features include:

Animation
Home design doesn't have to boring. With MyVirtualHome you can doors, fill cupboards, turn on lights and even switch the air conditioner on. With top-notch animation and graphic generation features, you can give your designs a lived-in feel before you ever even break ground.

Because of this, MyVirtualHome features intuitive controls and keyboard commands common to gamers of all calibers and genres. You can even customize your first person role, setting height, head bounce and pace to give you a more realistic feel of the house as you walk through it.

Ease of use should be your number one consideration when looking for a Home Design program. CAD based programs (Computer Aided Drafting, Drawing or Design) programs are great for people who have been trained in the concepts of Drafting, Drawing and Designing... but if you havn't they really aren't much use to you.

Ask yourself 3 simple questions.
1. Will it be easy to use and will I be able to use it? 71% of our surveyed users rated a 5 out of 10 or better in terms of ease of use. 47% gave it a 7 out of 10 or better.
2. Does it come with updates included? We all know software just keeps getting better so why not invest your time in a program that grows with you rather than have to pay out for next years version.
3. Will the images be realistic enough to help me with my project? If it does not look like your house is it really going to help you?

How does MVH address these 3 questions?
1. We built MVH on games technology not CAD. Who reads the manual for a game?
2. MVH is internet connected and delivers updates to you as they become available for free.
3. Our rendering technology provides amazing image quality in real time.
